Updates for August 29th (Looks like updates will be on Mondays I guess)

Hey dudes, hope everyone's doing well

As many of you know, our first movie, The Big Lebowski, is going to be shown tomorrow night at 8:00pm in the Cinema Room. It's going to be pretty fun so you should drop by.

Attendance is encouraged, as we're going to have something cool (we don't have anything definite, but we're working with a few different ideas that will all be pretty fun) for the students that attend most of the meetings (once again, we haven't set an exact number for this but it's looking to be around 12)

Also, the voting for next week's movie has closed, and the winner is the 1994 Tarantino classic, Pulp Fiction. We'll be showing this at our meeting on September 6th.

Also, we probably won't have any poll this week so we can get some feedback on what everyone would like to see and so we can get our voting schedule lined up with the viewing schedule

Hey guys, hope everyone had a great first day of classes.

I'm just posting this to make sure everyone knows we have our first meeting tomorrow night, AUGUST 23rd at 8:00pm in the 3rd FLOOR LOUNGE. this will just be an informational meeting as we'll just be talking about our plans for the year and we'll see if anyone has any suggestions for the club.

also, don't forget to vote on what movie you'd like to see on our September 6th meeting at the top of the page, it's a tight race between pulp fiction and inglorious bastards- voting closes on the 26th

Welcome to the WVU Summit Hall Film Club!

Hey guys, this is JJ Walsh. Tom Taylor and I will be in charge of leading the film club this semester.
We'll be meeting Tuesday nights at 8:30 to watch a different film every week. Right now we're going to try having different themes for each month or few weeks, such as different directors or different movie genres.

You guys can choose the movies we're going to be showing as well. At the top of this page we're going to have a poll that we'll be changing every week, allowing you to vote on the movie you want to see the upcoming week. The polls will be closing about a day before the meeting so the sooner you get your vote in, the better.

For this first film club movie we'll be showing a classic from 1998, The Big Lebowski

We'll be airing this on August 30th but we also have a meeting on the 23rd in the 3rd floor lounge at 8.00pm
